Swansea City Team up with 'Vi-Ability'

Swansea City Community Trust have teamed up with national award-winning social enterprise ‘Vi-Ability’ to launch an innovative course that uses the motivational power of football to introduce economically inactive people to the commercial management of football clubs. The 10-week course, which started on Monday 20th January, delivers employability skills, fosters entrepreneurship, and activities undertaken will support participants to develop confidence, and motivation towards work.

Those individuals that successfully complete the course will gain an exclusive BTEC Level 2 in Football Industries, and take part in a 2-week placement abroad to learn about the best practices in professional football clubs based in two of the most football obsessed countries; Italy and Spain.

More courses are scheduled to be delivered throughout the year.

If you are 16 years or over, a resident of Swansea, Neath Port Talbot or Pembrokeshire, and not currently in work and would like to work within the football industry, please call: Natasha on 02920 504123 or email: courses@vi-ability.org for more info. Please note that places are limited
