Vi-Ability staff will be clocking up the air miles this month with a visit to India to visit various projects in the country with a view to looking at ways to replicate various elements of the Vi-Ability model in India. The 2-week trip has been made possible through funding from the Queens Silver Jubilee Trust and the Community Foundation in Wales.
Projects to be visited include: “Dream a Dream” – helping young people from vunerable backgrounds, “Swathi Educational Trust” - and “Frank Water”- a charity that develops clean water projects in developing countries.
Vi-Ability currently offer volunteer work placements in Europe so the trip will provide an opportunity to investigate replicating certain elements of the Vi-Ability model on a global scale.
