Social Enterprise, Vi-Ability, has been awarded “Investors in People” status, following a visit by the standard’s assessors in February 2012.
A wide range of Vi-Ability’s staff, including personnel, support staff and directors were interviewed by the assessors about the company’s approach to staff development, leadership and management and employee engagement.
As a result the company has been granted the Investors in People status for three years.
Managing Director Kelly Davies was delighted to be informed of the award: “To be recognised by Investors in People is a fantastic achievement. We aim to offer progression and career opportunities across all levels to ensure our people recognise they are at the core of everything we do. We will continue to work hard to ensure that can continue to improve the way we develop our staff at Vi-Ability.”
